The main function of the tethered power system is to provide safe and reliable power for the UAV to fly for a long period of time. It consists of a tether box and an on-board power supply, in which the tether box contains a winch for retrieval and release, a ground power supply, and a tethered cable.
Endurance: The tethered UAV is powered by a ground generator and connected to the ground emergency communication vehicle through an optoelectronic composite cable to achieve uninterrupted power transmission, guaranteeing 24-hour airborne coverage and providing reliable emergency communication for disaster relief and rescue, field operation, public security and anti-terrorism, and national defence and military industry.
Stable hovering: The tethered UAV flight control system adopts high-precision sensors to accurately measure the UAV's three-dimensional speed, three-dimensional acceleration and three-dimensional angular velocity in real time and carry out attitude and position solving, so that the UAV can still maintain a stable hovering working state under various meteorological environments.
Mobility: Due to its small size and high degree of integration, the tethered UAV can be carried by a small off-road vehicle and quickly arrive at the disaster area or mission area; even if it encounters road obstruction, it can be deployed flexibly by using the UAV's lifting altitude to safeguard the timely functioning of emergency communications.
