Recently, a delegation of faculty and students from The University of Hong Kong visited MYUAV Technologies Nanjing Co., Ltd. for an industry-academia-research exchange. The MYUAV team gave a warm welcome and provided in-depth presentations and demonstrations of the company’s core product—the tethered drone system.

During the exchange, MYUAV representatives introduced the innovative applications of tethered drones in multiple fields: a stable platform for high-altitude cleaning operations, a rapid-response system for urban firefighting, a relay solution for emergency communications, and an aerial lighting and detection platform to support scientific research. Through hands-on demonstrations and technical explanations, the visiting faculty and students gained an intuitive understanding of the drones’ sustained flight capabilities, multi-scenario adaptability, and practical application value.

The HKU delegation expressed strong interest in MYUAV’s technical achievements in the industrial-grade drone sector. Both sides engaged in lively discussions on technical principles, industry pain points, and future development trends.
