On April 24, a drone took off from Jiazi Airport in Haikou, Hainan province, and delivered a batch of shrimp seedlings to Lianzhou Airport in Zhuhai, Guangdong province in three hours. This flight is the first time to realize the cross-sea flight of UAV public freight logistics between the two places, which is an attempt by Hainan to actively explore new channels and new formats of cross-sea logistics of high value-added agricultural products, and will play a role in promoting the low-altitude economic development of the two places.

The cross-sea flight of the UAV public freight logistics is the FP-98 large fixed-wing UAV of the Aerospace Times Feipeng Company, which is carried by the Beidou III integrated management platform. According to reports, the FP-98 is the first large unmanned transport aircraft in China, which can be used in transport delivery, emergency airdrop, communication relay and special test loading scenarios, which can greatly improve the efficiency of cross-city or remote areas of logistics transportation.
